When you list a skill, we use your coordinates only to calculate distance. Other people see an approximate area label you choose (like “Bed-Stuy”) and a rounded distance — never your precise address or a pinpoint on a map.

Contact details are gated.

The way to reach someone is hidden until a viewer signs in. Browsing what people do is free and anonymous; revealing a contact takes a free account. This keeps handles and numbers away from scrapers and casual passers-by.

You own your profile.

You can edit or remove your profile anytime from your account. Remove it and you're gone from the map.

Meeting safely.

For first-time, in-person tasks, meet in a public place and trust your instincts. Nearra connects you — how you proceed is up to you.
